SHIPPING CLERK / FORKLIFT OPERATOR / CRATE BUILDER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate all incoming and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, deliveries, packing and shipping.
  • Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order.
  • Cleaning equipment and applying decals to equipment before crating
  • Inspects incoming freights for damage
  • Prepares shipping and receiving documentation
  • Assist in properly crating, shipping, packaging equipment
  • Assist in wood working and carpentry
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Operate forklift in a safe manner

LARGE EQUIPMENT MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

Description:
Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces and products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line for a Commercial Bakery Equipment Manufacturing organization.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assembling various components used to build commercial-grade tortilla and tamale equipment for restaurants, grocery stores and bakeries.
  • Assembles, modifies, reworks, and/or reassembles production components utilizing drawings, pick tickets, process documentation, and/or verbal instructions.
  • Performs a wide range of skilled repetitive mechanical assembly operations in support of production projects.
  • Prepares and utilizes basic hand tools and machines.
  • Identifies wires with use of basic color code sequence.
  • Cleans parts prior to production use as required.
  • Participates in first time production runs of new products.
  • Assemble and/or perform preset calibration/final testing.
  • Creates and makes jigs.
  • Makes flour tortilla dough.
  • Performs low to moderately complex assembly and test. Products may include but are not limited to small products, med-heavy subassemblies, and/or complete units of a large size.
  • Assemble, install, align, adjust and fit subassemblies and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment as per work instructions.
  • Following written and verbal work instructions and specific customer specs, to ensure that products are produced to satisfaction.
  • Work with close tolerances and fits to meet engineering and operating requirements.
  • Complete all required paperwork in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Complete Quality Assurance and Test reports.
  • Inspects products and reports any defects that occur.
  • Supports cycle count activity, inventory handling, and inventory transactions following established material procedures.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of and ability to apply inspection techniques (e.g., formalized inspection standards, inspection instructions, best practices) and use inspection tools efficiently. The ability to read and use micrometers, functional and cylindrical gauges, comparators, indicator setups, scales.
  • Manufacturing fabrication skills, specifically equipment operations. Knowledge and ability to use torque wrenches to adjust parts and equipment, or install parts and equipment, following established specifications and procedures.
  • Knowledge of how quality impacts the success of the organization including costs to customers, costs of recalls and potential costs due to negative impacts on a company's reputation. This includes taking the necessary steps to ensure quality on a consistent basis and striving for improvement.
  • The ability to accomplish a task with concern for all the areas involved, including the ability to notice minute inconsistencies/faults in parts, equipment, or production processes to prevent faulty products leaving the facility.

Essential Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a mechanical/manufacturing assembler and a solid work history.

PARTS PULLER

The accomplishments we are looking for:
  • Parts pulling or inventory clerk: 3 years

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems.
  • Performs preventive maintenance and troubleshoots issues on all BE&SCO company equipment including but not limited to (forklifts,company equipment andvehicles).
  • Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Create and maintain a maintenance schedule.
  • Maintains and repairs plumbing and HVAC systems as needed.
  • Maintains and repairs interior and exterior finishes of buildings.
  • Paints interior and exterior walls and trim, generally touch ups and repairs.
  • Operates scissor lifts, forklifts and works from ladders to replace light bulbs and to hang banners.
  • Keeps facilities clean in appearance, removing trash as required.
  • Performs landscape maintenance and other duties as needed.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

BILINGUAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN
(ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    BE&SCO Manufacturing is looking for a Service Electrical Technician. The candidate needs at least 5 years experience in this field. We are looking for a candidate who has an electrical background, who can read electrical schematics and be able assemble the electrical components in our equipment. They will be working on the manufacturing floor assembling our electrical components and servicing our equipment for our customers. Please find the qualifications and responsibilities for the position below.

    BE&SCO Manufacturing works a 40 hour week, Monday through Friday, 8-5. The position has possible overtime nights and weekends. This is a temp to hire position. We offers good benefits once on permanent basis. We will give an Electrical Test on site for this position.

CNC MACHINIST / PROGRAMMER

The accomplishments we are looking for:
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in this field.
  • Background must include experience in running CNC equipment, lathes, mills, drills, grinders, vertical mills, programming capabilities

  • We use Conversational Programming.
  • Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
  • Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.
  • Programs mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
  • Sets-up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicating vices; tramming heads.

  • Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
  • Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

MANUFACTURING PLANNER / WORK COORDINATOR

The accomplishments we are looking for:
  • Develop and distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
  • Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
  • Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to expedite production: Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines, and equipment.
  • Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups.
  • Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
  • Confers with department managers to determine progress of work and to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments.
  • Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines and equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays.
  • Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production.
  • May expedite material.
  • May expedite production of spare parts and establish delivery dates for spare parts orders.
  • Uses ERP computer software system to track, locate production units and create reports.

  • Identify and resolve material shortages required for the planned production work orders.
  • Determine the sequence of the production work orders to be released based on material availability and manufacturing schedule priorities.
  • Work in conjunction with the Manufacturing Manager to release production work orders to the floor in a timely manner.
  • Manage and track the released work orders to confirm production fulfills planned requisites.
  • Confer with suppliers to schedule outside processing requirements.
  • Create, release and close purchase orders for material requiring processes outside of BE&SCO.
  • Coordinate the shipment and receipt of material shipped for outside processes with the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor.
  • Assist Materials Manager with inventory control and purchasing.
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving Supervisor with orders, shipments and receipts.
  • Coordinate with engineering for the execution of new materials, projects and changes.
  • Provide support to control annual fiscal inventory.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

JANITOR / DELIVERY DRIVER

The accomplishments we are looking for:
  • We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuums and buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.

  • Responsibilities

  • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc).
  • Drop off and pick up frames. Make runs to the store for supplies.
